Scott will start with Ironman then switch to Cap. Like Peter he will regret it as it opens up his life to all sorts of attacks. I believe Hank and Hope will convince Scott revealing his identity is a good idea. His motivation from the Ant-man Synopsis is a redemption story. He has the most to lose by revealing his identity to the public. I believe Scott Lang will be this movie’s Peter Parker.
#Captain america civil war 2 movie movie
Most of all the movie needs more ladies.Īnt-Man: I’ve been floating this theory a lot lately. I think her relationship with Scott will play a key role in what he decides to do. That would provide the audience with a powerful counter argument to hero’s running unchecked. Hope Van Dyne/Wasp: I really really hope she’s Wasp, but if she’s not I can still see a place for her in this movie. He would also give us a nice replacement for Reed Richards. He probably is one of the architects of this mess. What we’ve read so far about MCU’s Hank is he doesn’t trust Hero’s. I’m just going to except that’s not happening. Henry Pym: I know he’s a Skrull in Civil War. Lot of what ifs but that’s what makes it fun. I also need Hank to not be the rumored twist in Ant-man thus becoming a villain. Like Hope becoming Wasp and being romantically linked with Scott. Now I’m assuming a lot for my theories to work. The movie needs a replacement for the Fantastic Four and an adult Peter Parker. There is so much potential to flesh out Civil War with these three. I am really hoping that the Ant-man movie is the connective tissue between phase 2 and Civil War. The Ant-Man trio, Scott Lang, Henry Pym, and Hope Van Dyne. I expect the majority of disagreements to be about these characters. The New Allies, These players haven’t made their debut on screen or have just been glimpsed in a 2 minute trailer.

I don’t think the Russo’s would leave all that firepower on the sidelines. The Winter Soldier could hold his own verse 90 % of the Hero’s appearing in this movie. If Bucky comes to his senses and chooses to join Steve for the final battle. Winter Soldier: I hesitated putting him on the list but I felt he was the true definition of a wildcard. Will the Russo’s continue Whedon’s romantic plotline involving BW? In the end I give it a slight chance that he joins team Iron Man, but more than likely he sits out like Thor. That’s an uneasy alliance if there ever was. That would put him on the same side as Ross though. He’s closest to Tony and his scientific background makes him a plausible replacement for an absent Reed Richards. Leads me to lean towards him supporting some measure of accountability. Could we get more Hulk sooner than we thought? Now if he is in it what side would he end up on? Banner’s despair over the destruction the Hulk does. Couple that with the addition of William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross and that opens the door just a crack. Hulk: Where’s the Big Guy? Mark Ruffalo created a bit of a stir last week with a tweet that could have been interpreted that he was going to appear in Civil War.

I just think it’s to complex of a plot line to do properly in a movie that is already bursting at the seams. I know a clone of Thor plays a significant part in the Novelization of Civil War. That’s a long time without the Son of Odin.

Speculation is he may be off screen until his solo movie in Oct of 2017. Thor: AoU ended with Thor going off world. One’s in the movie and the other two could be out. First The Wildcards, Thor, Hulk, and the Winter Soldier.
